Our Doctors
Dr. Gurnek S. Rai
Dr. Rai graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1993. Prior to that, he obtained his BSC from the University of British Columbia in 1989. He is an active member of the British Columbia Association of Optometry. He currently resides in Burnaby with his family and is actively involved in community events.
Dr. Rai is happy to provide services to all ages in both English and Punjabi.
Dr. Robert A. Strath
Dr. Strath attended the University of British Columbia where he received two degrees. He graduated from the New England of Optometry in 1986, following this he completed further post graduate training at the University of California, Berkeley. He obtained a Doctorate from the University of Alberta and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He has full optometric licenses in both British Columbia and Washington State, and is an adjunct faculty member at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Strath is happy to provide services to all ages in English.
Dr. Darshan S. Dosanjh
Dr. Dosanjh graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1995. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Cell Biology from the University of British Columbia. He is married, and is a father of two sons. Dr. Dosanjh is actively involved in his sons' school and community sports. Dr. Dosanjh is happy to provide services to all ages in both English and Punjabi.
Dr. Tarndip S. Gandham
Dr. Gandham graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2004. Prior to that, he obtained his BSC from Simon Fraser University in 2000. He worked in Michigan for one year before returning to his home city of Burnaby. Dr. Gandham is happy to provide services to all ages in both English and Punjabi.
Dr. Roger Gafur
Dr. Gafur graduated from the University of Toronto with an honors degree in Physics in 1993. He went on to complete a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1997. Dr. Gafur currently serves on the BC College of Optometrists after being elected to the board by his peers. He resides in the North Shore with his family and enjoys playing tennis in his spare time. Dr. Gafur is happy to provide services to all ages in English.
